Chilli & Raisin Chocolate Bark

Serves 1 chocaholic or several others!




1 cup liquid coconut oil (200ml)

½ cup cacao powder (80g)

1tbsp agave nectar

½ cup raisins and/or chopped nuts (60g)

1 tsp chilli flakes

½ tsp salt (pref pink Himalayan)

½ tsp fresh grated nutmeg



Put cacao powder in a mixing bowl and whisk in coconut oil and agave until smooth.  Stir in raisins and spread all out onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment.  Sprinkle on chilli, salt and nutmeg.  Place in fridge for a couple of minutes to harden.  (NB use cacao butter in place of coconut oil to get choc that will withstand heat…..).  Break up into chunks.  Will keep in fridge for weeks if you can resist it!
